Limbic Systems
"Tackle anything from your next exam to simply getting through a mental jam with one of our digital pets - Limbuddies- by your side!"
As an exercise in design research and user experience, my team was tasked with coming up with a
mobile app for aiding college students with combating procrastination. Through phases of research, data analysis, interviews, ideation, wire-framing, and our final touches we were able to put together a prospective app design to solve this problem.

My Role and Deliverables
Design Lead / Generalist
The process for this project was far more spread out and lose in the delegation of roles, I was in charge of the overall visual cohesion of the final product as well as making sure we adhered to the segmented deadlines. Things such as the overall visual language and tone were under my jurisdiction, as well as putting together the core pet-sim/task managing feature together into a wire-frame with the work my teammates completed. These features were decided on after multiple stages of digital and in person research led us to conclusions of what would be appealing and what we could do without. We had made this feature with risk in mind however, it was the middle of the pack in quantitative rankings for utility but viewed as an X-factor in surveys, and once we did audience testing the feature alongside the visual cohesion as a whole ranked highly.
Evidence based feature selection

This figure was results from a blind ranking of perspective features
the LimBuddies feature is feature 1 at a 4.95 which was one of the middling ones, however while being within .5 points within a 10 point scale with all features peaking at 5.45 we were able to justify its inclusion since in interviews it was viewed as a potential draw/X-factor. Other features I proposed and prototyped such as 2; the daily missions, and 9, the automatic syncing calendar rated amongst the highest.

The FYEYE Campus Experience with Alcon
Learn, See, Lead
We were presented a chance to design a solution for a problem Alcon was facing, that being "how do we get gen Z to be more knowledgeable and take action regarding their eye health" We were placed in teams and given specialized roles to accomplish this task. We took the An edutainment, gamified experience, with social media implementation was the basis for our solution. This was accomplished using the agile method, splitting work into week-biweekly "sprints" of focused work.
